Senator Bill Brady restated his support for abolishing the legislative scholarship program and said he hopes Democrat legislative leaders will allow a vote that would finally end the longstanding program.
“I have initiated legislation to abolish this tuition waver program in the past and consistently supported efforts to end it,” Senator Brady said. “Unfortunately those efforts were not allowed a vote in the Illinois Senate. I continue to support this reform and hope we have the opportunity this fall to sustain the Governor’s action.”
