Senator Bill Brady has been named to the Senate Republican leadership team for the 97th biennial session of the Illinois General Assembly.

The 44th District Senator has been asked to serve as Assistant Senate Republican Leader by Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno of Lemont.

“Bill Brady’s background as a business owner and his legislative work with pension, insurance and workers’ compensation issues provides our Caucus with valuable insights into the very real challenges that face Illinois citizens,” Senator Radogno said. “Bill will play an integral role in the Caucus’s strategy and policy decisions, and we are proud to have him as part of our leadership team.”

Senator Brady has also been named to five Senate committees. He will continue his responsibilities as Republican Spokesperson for the Insurance Committee, which examines legislation affecting the insurance industry and policy holders. He will also serve as a member of the Energy, Environment, Executive, and Pensions and Investments committees.
