The 44th District is slated to receive more than $16.8 million for road and bridge improvements in the coming fiscal year, according to Senator Bill Brady.
The 44th District Senator released details of 16 local projects included in Illinois’ regular road plan for Fiscal Year 2010, which starts July 1, 2009. The six-year plan also includes an additional $254.35 million for local roads and bridges.
Fiscal Year 2010 projects for the 44th District include:
$1,980,000 for bridge replacement on Illinois 54 at Salt Creek, 3 miles northeast of Farmer City.
$610,000 for bridge replacement on Illinois 10 at a creek, 2 miles east of the Logan County line.
