State Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington) was sworn in Wednesday for another term as State Senator for the 44th District. Brady has served in the Illinois Senate since May of 2002, after a brief retirement from the Illinois House where he served from 1993 to 2001.
After being sworn in Brady released the following statement:
“The new General Assembly is an excellent opportunity for legislators from both sides of the aisle to come together to solve the problems plaguing this state. It is my sincere hope that in the 98th General Assembly we can work together to address issues like pension reform and getting the state budget under control.”
