A capital funding plan that will make much needed improvements to Illinois’ crumbling physical infrastructure and put Illinoisans back to work is a good thing for the state says State Senator Bill Brady (R-Bloomington).
“One of the best investments we can make in helping Illinois move forward is putting money into improving our physical infrastructure. Putting money toward these improvements is far more wise than continuing to pour money into the sinkhole of government spending we have seen under Gov. Quinn,” said Brady who intends to vote for HB 3793, a capital plan that will allocate funds to much needed road repairs and other various projects throughout the state.
“I want to applaud Secretary Schneider for her support and work to secure this funding that not only improves our roads but also creates many jobs,” said Brady. “After such a long and difficult winter many of our roads have been left in a condition that puts public safety at risk. This is a wise investment that will be paying off far into the future.”
