As the spring legislative session begins, State Senator Bill Brady (R-Bloomington) has been appointed to serve as Republican Spokesperson for the Senate Insurance Committee.
“I look forward to another session serving as the Republican Spokesperson for the Insurance Committee,” said Brady. “I am also grateful to have the opportunity to continue to serve on the Executive Committee, which allows me to stay engaged on many of the top issues in Illinois.”
Brady has also been appointed to sit on the Executive, Commerce and Economic Development, Energy and Public Utilities, and Transportation committees as well as the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR).
“Without a doubt, the Senate will face some difficult issues this spring,” said Brady. “However, with a new Republican Governor, we have an incredible opportunity to craft bipartisan solutions to some of the most pressing problems Illinois faces. I look forward to working together to tackle these issues.”
